All companies want to function at the highest level and reach as many customers as possible, and utilizing MarTech/AdTech is one way to do it. Marketing leaders are using MarTech to support the improvement of business objectives and innovation within their companies; and AdTech to streamline the process of buying and selling digital ads. Consequently, both of these technologies help increase a companies’ outreach and efficiency which can lead to enhanced customer acquisition, increases in company mindshare within key business verticals, and more.

Here’s what a few companies are doing in the MarTech/AdTech PR space right now:

AdTech Startup Adwisely Raises $1.5 Mn From TMT Investments & Others – techgraph!

“Los Angeles, CA-based Adtech startup, Adwisely (formerly RetargetApp) has raised $1.5 million in series seed round funding led by TMT Investments.

‘The platform plans to use the new funds to integrate with more advertising platforms with the highest potential for the fast-growing DTC brands such as TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter, before raising Series A later this year,’ the statement said.”

Google, NBCUniversal duking it out to be Netflix adtech provider – MarTech

“Ads are coming to Netflix, and Google and NBCUniversal are fighting for the lucrative right to provide them.

Until recently Netflix’s position as the dominant streaming service allowed it to grow revenue without advertising. A subscription price increase earlier this year led to a loss of about 200,000 subscribers. The first loss in more than a decade. Despite this, Netflix says its user base continues to grow. One explanation: Password sharing. That would explain why there are fewer subscribers but more viewers

The company is now also facing serious challenges from other streaming providers. So, even though its revenue continues to grow, it is looking to bolster them with a lower-priced, ad-supported subscription option. Bringing in Google or NBCUniversal, could make this happen much faster, though it could still be a year or more before it becomes a reality.”
