All companies want to function at the highest level and reach as many customers as possible, and utilizing MarTech/AdTech is one way to do it. Marketing leaders are using MarTech to support the improvement of business objectives and innovation within their companies; and AdTech to streamline the process of buying and selling digital ads. Consequently, both of these technologies help increase a companies’ outreach and efficiency which can lead to enhanced customer acquisition, increases in company mindshare within key business verticals, and more.
Here’s what a few companies are doing in the MarTech/AdTech PR space right now:
“Los Angeles, CA-based Adtech startup, Adwisely (formerly RetargetApp) has raised $1.5 million in series seed round funding led by TMT Investments.
‘The platform plans to use the new funds to integrate with more advertising platforms with the highest potential for the fast-growing DTC brands such as TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter, before raising Series A later this year,’ the statement said.”
“Ads are coming to Netflix, and Google and NBCUniversal are fighting for the lucrative right to provide them.
Until recently Netflix’s position as the dominant streaming service allowed it to grow revenue without advertising. A subscription price increase earlier this year led to a loss of about 200,000 subscribers. The first loss in more than a decade. Despite this, Netflix says its user base continues to grow. One explanation: Password sharing. That would explain why there are fewer subscribers but more viewers
The company is now also facing serious challenges from other streaming providers. So, even though its revenue continues to grow, it is looking to bolster them with a lower-priced, ad-supported subscription option. Bringing in Google or NBCUniversal, could make this happen much faster, though it could still be a year or more before it becomes a reality.”
“Adtech startup Veridooh, an OOH media performance measuring system, has raised $5 million in series A funding which it will use to expand internationally.
The funding round was led by venture fund EVP, with partner Dan Szekely leading the deal.
Veridooh serves more than 140 clients in Australia and New Zealand, including Google, Unilever, Amazon, and McDonald’s.”
“Konnecto, the prescriptive marketing platform pioneering the category of path-to-purchase optimization, announced that it has secured $21 Million in Series A financing led by PeakSpan Capital.
Konnecto has established a new category in marketing technology, prescribing highly targeted recommendations to increase online sales and optimize marketing ROI for brands including MassMutual, Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz, eToro and many others. The company has tripled its client base in the past six months, and will leverage the funding to expand its data science and engineering teams, as well as invest in expansion of go-to-market infrastructure and headcount to capitalize on the overwhelming demand it is seeing for its platform.”
“Customer engagement platform MoEngage has raised $77 million in Series E funding led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and B Capital, with participation from the company’s existing investors Steadview Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Eight Roads Ventures, and Matrix Partners India.
This is the third round of funding raised by the company in the last 12 months, with $32.5 million raised in July and $30 million in December 2021.
In the last 12 months, MoEngage claims to have grown annualized recurring revenue (ARR) by more than 105 per cent, added 500 new customers, and doubled its headcount to more than 650.”
