Eric Fischgrund

Eric Fischgrund is a father, husband, entrepreneur, writer and philanthropist. He is an advocate for sustainability, healthcare quality and accessibility, financial literacy, social equality and justice, and advancing ideas and technologies that positively impact the world.

As its founder and CEO, Eric’s belief is that FischTank PR clients should count on the firm as more than just a vendor, but rather a partner that understands their business and applies a unique skillset to amplify their messaging and achieve results. With this in mind, clients can count on the FischTank team for leadership and support for all of their communications and marketing needs.

Eric graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Minor in Psychology. In 2012, he was named Alumnus of the Year, being one of the youngest recipients to ever receive the award. In 2019, he received an 2019 Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the university. His thoughts on marketing and communications have been featured in prominent media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, PRWeek, Digiday, Forbes, and many others.

Since 2016, Eric has served as a Committee member and leader at Joseph’s House of Camden, a shelter in south Jersey for those experiencing homelessness. If you made it this far, please consider a donation.

Eric is also the founder of Boom Local, an online directory used by cities and municipalities to connect customers/visitors with the small businesses they love.

In his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, writing, running/biking, spending time outdoors, rooting too hard for Philadelphia sports teams and listening to all kinds of music — especially The Black Crowes.
