The Objective

ENGIE Impact is a global sustainability consultant owned by the electric utility ENGIE Group. It wanted to generate awareness for the brand as a standalone entity and establish its executive team as thought leaders across several key customer segments, including food & beverage, supply chain, facilities management, and more. Further, ENGIE Impact works with numerous Fortune 500 and household brands, and sought to leverage these case studies and examples in media, however many had to remain anonymous or white-labeled.

Our Approach

ENGIE Impact employs dozens of subject matter experts, and its services and customer audiences are tiered by priority. Establishing a media relations program that took all these factors into account was essential. FischTank PR worked closely with ENGIE marketing contacts and spokespeople to determine which verticals, offerings, bigger picture industry trends, and company announcements to focus on over the course of six-month campaigns. This approach, combined with leveraging ENGIE’s robust collection of internal and external marketing content and case studies, enabled FischTank to create succinct, impactful media relations messaging that was customized to target both top-tier and trade press.

The Results

By creating processes and gaining a holistic understanding of ENGIE Impact’s business model and priorities, FischTank drove significant positive coverage for the company, its services, customer successes, and leadership. This included insightful pieces of contributed content placed in trade outlets such as Supply & Demand Chain Executive, Chemical Engineering, and Food Logistics, as well as podcast appearances that allowed spokespeople to control much of the messaging shared. Thus far, FischTank has also secured virtual and in-person introductory interviews with influential and top-tier journalists at Canary Media, Bloomberg, The Financial Times, and more. Several of these connections resulted in continued positive relationships and mentions in longer-lead articles.
